Weighing in at 7 lb, 8ozs, baby girl Eileen Lielani Hernandez, made her appearance at MacNeal Maternity Suites at 7:49 pm on New Years Eve, 2007. Mom, Berwyn resident Ivette Hernandez, smiles with her first child. She is a patient of Dr. Roy Henderson, with an office in Berwyn.

On New Years Day, 8 lbs, 5 oz baby boy Sebastian Flores Penaslor, was delivered at 2:17 pm. Mom, Maria Penaslor of Chicago, is a patient of Dr. Beatrice Mounts who practices at MacNeal with offices in Chicago.

MacNeal’s maternity suites handle maternity care for over 2500 babies and their new families who deliver at the hospital annually. MacNeal maternity services staff consist of board-certified obstetricians/gynecologists, pediatricians, neonatologists, family practitioners and mother-baby nurses, labor and delivery nurses, & intensive care nursery staff.

MacNeal Maternity Services include: a 25 bed mother baby unit; nine labor delivery recovery rooms; and, bi-lingual breast feeding and prenatal education programs.
