Breast Cancer Diagnosis

We offer our patients a full complement of breast cancer testing techniques.

The Breast Care Center has four state-of-the-art digital mammography units, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound units and equipment for stereotactic biopsy and ultrasound-guided biopsy. You may also be screened with one of the Center's ultrasound units.

If you require a biopsy, it can be performed right at the Breast Care Center. A biopsy enables the radiologist to obtain a small amount of tissue, which will be examined under a microscope for cancer cells.
