Nurses Community

MacNeal Hospital nurses, dieticians, physicians and other health professionals provided more than 20 bilingual interactive health education booths and health screenings at the Heritage Middle School Health Fair in Berwyn again this year. More than 50 of the volunteers were MacNeal nurses who presented health posters highlighting topics such as cancer, hand hygiene, smoking cessation, oral disease prevention, hypertension, cholesterol, stroke, nutrition and obesity. The event focused on the entire family and promoted health for life to more than 700 attendees.

Additionally more than 600 students at Heritage Middle School were educated on childhood obesity presented by nursing and nutrition.

MacNeal Home Care is an expanding agency offering a variety of services. We have a highly skilled staff of caregivers including Registered Nurses, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Social Workers, Physical Therapy Assistants and Home Health Aides. The expert knowledge of our staff and their caring qualities help provide high quality patient and family centered care.
