Employee engagement is measured at Vanguard MacNeal Hospital via the Gallup Q12 employee survey. The results showed that Vanguard MacNeal nurses are highly engaged, and when compared to other nurses in the nation, rank in the 85th percentile. This engagement is the key to our improved outcomes in all areas.

Once a year, we measure RN satisfaction using the National Database for Nursing Quality Indicators. The year-over-year performance for Vanguard MacNeal nurses showed statistically significant improvement and out performed the national benchmarks.
