DAISY Awards

The DAISY Awards are a national program developed by the Barnes family to provide recognition to nurses in memory of their son, J. Patrick Barnes. DAISY is an acronym for Diseases Attacking the Immune System. Patients, patients' families and hospital coworkers nominate nurses for their exceptional care. Each quarter, three nurses are chosen for the DAISY Award as a way to acknowledge outstanding nursing.
