Core Measures

Quality of patient care is measured by MacNeal Hospital’s compliance with core measures as defined by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The Center measures key indicators to evaluate the quality of care provided. CMS core measures are congestive heart failure (CHF), pneumonia (PN Bundle), acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and general surgery. The graphs below demonstrate our performance.
